During my stay at the KuBa-Residendenc, I organized a very regular everyday routine for myself :
I woke up, ran 4 kilometers every day, and then started my new day.
Physical exercises transform energy and refresh your thoughts.
I really appreciate the fresh air of Klein Warnow, the working and living environment provided by Sharon and Cheb.
The "Kuba’s experience" put me in a new and totally foreign environment .
What can I do?
How can I realize my ideas?
How can I find more depth?
How can I combine this experiences with my creativity?
These are the questions that I have always dealt with.
During the residency, we evaluated my work process at the end of each week. Sharon and Cheb have provided all the support and assistance I needed to progress with my work.
During the first week, I tried to understand my surrounding, and rediscover my feelings towards nature.
I felt like a child breathing fresh air.
In the second week I started to take pictures and film. I also built a wooden model of a house in the workshop of the residence.
During the third week I wrote text and performed in the wood.
In the forth week I put up an exhibition with works that have all been created at KuBa-residency during this month.
